If you recieve a Federal Pell Grant are you only able to use it to the school that awarded it to you, or anywhere in your state that accepts Pell Grants?

-I live in Tx
-ACC sent me the letter
-I want to see If I can use it for Tyler Jr. College
I can put the money on a mastercard only to be used at ACC, a check, or direct deposit.

And do I get to use the leftover money on whatever I want?

I’m working on my 2nd bachelors, didn’t receive a pell grant last year when i started working on the 2nd degree. Now, I just emailed my school to see if I was eligible for aid and when I would receive my award letter. I got a response saying I was eligible for a pell grant and other aid. What’s this all about? I didn’t think you were.? Are there new rules about pell grants this year?

My mom will not be filing taxes this year because she is retired and not working (though she gets little money from pension). In the past, she has worked and filed taxes and i have received pell grants. Since my mom is not filing taxes this year and I have marked this on FAFSA, will I still be able to receive the Pell grant?
