I think i’ll get a pell grant and my enhanced life scholarship for next school year. However i was hoping that i could still get the stafford loan even though my entire tuition would be covered by my enhanced life scholarship plus the pell grant.

So, can i still get the stafford loan even though my tuition would be covered IF (notice the caps) i got the pell grant ?

How much money can i make as an independent student and still get pell grant to pay for my full 2009 year. I was unemployed for 9 months and was receiving unemployment checks. I made $10,570. Would that prevent me from getting my pell grant? if so, what are the requirements to receive pell? Whats the maximum income i can make?

Ok. I applied for a Pell Grant for my college. But, the financial advisor denied it because both of my parents filed for the head of household in their tax return. Is there another way for me to receive the Pell Grant without them both filing for head of household. They also don’t want to file joint returns.

I’m working on my 2nd bachelors, didn’t receive a pell grant last year when i started working on the 2nd degree. Now, I just emailed my school to see if I was eligible for aid and when I would receive my award letter. I got a response saying I was eligible for a pell grant and other aid. What’s this all about? I live in Iowa. i Know there are grants i qualify for but dont understand the web site they are listed on. dont understand what each one is for and how to find the ones i do qualify for. Mathew Lesco didn’t help. tried his dvd, not much help there.I’m looking for grants other than school.my school only has a couple grants they apply for and i only qualify for pell grant through them.

I was told by my mother that I have to pay back all of my PELL Grant if I fail one of my classes this semester. I am planning on moving in a month, am paying for my flight with my PELL money, and I need to know if this is true. Is it true? If you don’t know, then who should I call to find out?
I already paid for the classes in the beginning of school, it was taken out as technical expenses since I’m taking them online.
